Marilyn J. Lecko died at home on Tuesday August 22, 2017 after a long illness under the care of loving friends and family. Born March 14, 1939 to Almon and Dorothy Drost of Bristol.

 

She is preceded by her husband Alexander Lecko Jr. whom she married on October 29, 1960. She is survived by her children: Jeffrey, Kenneth and Tonya (Benvenuti), grandchildren: Alex, Sam, Mikayla, Olivia, Josette, 7 of her 11 brothers, sisters and countless nieces and nephews whom she was very proud of. Above all she loved our God Jehovah, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1950.

Her faith in her creator and living in harmony with his will, remained the central motivation in her life until she fell asleep in death. We know she is very precious in his eyes and he will remember her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and look forward to seeing her again soon under much better conditions.

A talk in memory of Marilyn will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 970 Main St, Winsted CT. 06098, Saturday September 2, at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to meet beginning at 1:00 to visit and share their memories and encouraging thoughts.
