Our group mourns the passing of Muff Maskovsky whose article from the Register is excerpted below.  Muff was with our group for a few years as he transitioned from home to Emeritus before moving to Massachusetts last year to be closer to his children.

Muff was a long-time educator in Torrington as a high school teacher and principal, assistant superintendent and interim superintendent before moving on to Region 6 as superintendent.  His determination, diplomacy and foresight created a legacy that includes the Warner Theater and Torrington's UCONN branch.  He was a community activist who helped to make Torrington a strong, caring town where children could grow in an enriching environment.
Please keep Muff's family in your prayers.
