We will meet at 10 AM Saturday, July 20. Our speaker will be Melanie Barrett from the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. She will speak on gait (walking) issues as well as provide an update on Fox activities.
This week, I will work with some young adults to update our walk signs, and I will bring those to the meeting. We will post signs on August 1 at major intersections and key locations in the Northwest corner. If you still have signs from past years, please bring them on Saturday so we can update them.
Raffle prizes are being sought for the walk. If you are able, please solicit gift cards or items from area businesses, and let me know what those items are so I can add them to our database. So far, the throne belongs to Nancy Moore, crowned Queen of Raffle Soliciitation.
I look forward to seeing everyone next Saturday, July 20th at 10 am.
